Being co-owner of our own firm is truly rewarding. I followed Andrea’s footsteps into this career over eighteen years ago. I graduated top of my class at our first brokerage firm and was trusted to train new financial advisors. I was able to grow my practice and earn their highest performance level within four years. We knew we needed access to a greater mix of products, so we created Meritage Asset Management Group thirteen years ago and never looked back. Today, I get to help new investors starting out, new parents saving for college, more experienced investors needing balance and guidance, and many older investors needing fixed income payments that they can rely on. Everyday is different, and there is so much to learn which makes this position so rewarding.

I have had a few careers in my time, student, competitive swimmer, certified picture framer, electro-mechanical engineer specializing in plasma processes for the silicon wafer, hard disk drive, flat panel display, and ultrasonic inkjet print head industries, ultrasonic inspector at Elk Hills Naval Petroleum Reserve, event coordinator, and financial professional.

I have lived in California, Washington, and Sydney Australia, where I graduated from high school on a swimming scholarship. In fact, college swimming took me to Cal St. Bakersfield where I met Andrea forty years ago.

I have not only the Accredited Asset Management Specialist certificate, but graduated from the University of Arizona Global Campus with my four-year bachelor of arts degree in Consumer and Family Financial Services, with the Magna Cum Laude academic distinction.

We have purchased seven homes over the years, raised two wonderful adults, moved too many times, but really love to call Paso Robles our home for the past twenty years.
