Andrea Klipfel, AAMS®

President and co-owner of Meritage Asset Management Group, an experienced financial professional with over 30 years’ experience in the financial industry, Andrea has built a career founded on educating clients on how to best navigate the volatility of the markets while still staying on track with their financial goals.  “Being a good listener, and really working to understand what’s most important to our clients; has been more valuable than any analytical tool we have access to; spending the extra time and asking the important questions gives us a clearer view of how to serve them in the best way possible.”

Taking a holistic approach to client service; Andrea follows a process of several meetings to better understand each client’s unique situation and help them develop a comprehensive plan that addresses their own needs and priorities.  “Many advisors take a cookie-cutter approach to financial management; at Meritage, our goal is always to better understand what is of most critical importance to our clients first, then we curate a plan that will support them in achieving those goals.”

Andrea is a graduate of University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Management; she also holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation from the College of Financial Planning.   Andrea attended the University of Michigan Business School “Theory and Practice of Investor Relations” program and is a member of the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society.  Active in her local community, Andrea is also a Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow.

Andrea has enjoyed living here on the beautiful central coast for over 20 years with her husband, Kevin.  They have two adult children, a son Dagan, married to Erica, and a daughter, Miranda, and two adorable fur babies:  Tigger and Rue.
